  • Emoji are no longer stripped from players' names, as the underlying database issue regarding them has been fixed.

  • Added an experimental autobalance fix. Players will not get autobalanced if any of the following conditions are met:
    • There is 1 minute or less left on the server clock
    • There is 30 seconds or less in round time - including either timer in KoTH
    • One team owns 4 out of 5 cap points in 5CP
    • The cart is on the last point in PL - though this includes the LAST last point on multistage pl maps
  • Developer commentary on this feature is as follows:

    "Ever play TF2, and get autobalanced right before the game ends? This is obnoxious, and, in our view, unneeded. If there's 10 seconds left on the round timer, not even the best player in the world is going to make a difference for the team they got autobalanced to, which, more often than not, is losing. There's no reason to autobalance people during tense moments - just wait for the next round, when the game isn't nearly as tense! That's what this plugin does - disable autobalancing people during what are more often than not "tense moments". Hopefully, this should avoid frustrating players, but feel free to leave your feedback about this new feature in the #feedback channel in our discord."

  • Added hidden attribute +55% melee bounds multiplier to the Hypodermic Injector to better improve teammate hit registration, similar to soldier's Disciplinary Action.
  • Ping masking has been disabled on Creators.TF servers.
  • Added !seed chat command. Running this command will send an alert in the #looking-for-players channel on our discord to help populate (or "seed") an empty server.
  • Removed intel capture crits for Capture the Flag on Alternative Gamemode servers.

  • Limited simultaneous connections on one server from the same IP address to no more than 4 separate steam accounts.
  • Server !hop has been removed for better performance optimization. Instead, we recommend checking out the servers page via steam overlay.
  • Sentry gun upgrade animation is now smooth.
  • Added a chance for competitive pregame music to play instead of casual pregame music.
  • Added !vkick command to easily call a votekick. Typing !vkick [partial name] will call a vote to kick that player.
    EX: !vkick nano
  • Added the Balance-inator" cosmetic - the winning submission for balancemod.tf's cosmetic creation content.
    • All players who have played on Creators.TF x Balancemod Servers before 1/14/2021 have received a Vintage Balance-inator as a thank you for playing Balancemod.

  • Fixed a "physics mayhem" bug causing Demoman projectiles to not collide with world.

  • Added the ability to nominate a map by typing its partial name as an argument to the !nominate command.

    • Added a 5 minute round timer.
    • The intel now returns on drop much faster (15 seconds).
    • When time runs out, the team with most captures will win.
    • If both teams tied, both will lose to Stalemate.
    • Capturing the intel will add 2.25 minutes to the round.

  • Added version display to settings page
  • Added "Open Log Folder" button to settings page to help with finding logs on linux.
